A vintage movie poster of ''The Gauntlet'', a 1977 American action thriller film directed by Clint Eastwood, who also stars in the film alongside Sondra Locke. Known for its high-octane action sequences and suspenseful plot, the movie is a classic example of the action genre of the era.

The story revolves around Ben Shockley, portrayed by Clint Eastwood, a hard-nosed and somewhat disillusioned Phoenix cop with a reputation for causing trouble. He is assigned the seemingly routine task of escorting a witness named Gus Mally, played by Sondra Locke, from Las Vegas to Phoenix to testify in a mob trial. However, things quickly take a dangerous turn when Shockley realizes that Mally is a crucial witness who can expose a corrupt police force and a powerful criminal syndicate.
