The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This photo was taken in May 2015 while I was visiting the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary (British Columbia, Canada). It was taken handheld from a zodiac close to the shore. This bear was taking a bath to get rid of aggressive bugs.
